A Great Detective Story: Finding Hoggatt School

After use as a school, Hoggatt was moved several times and eventually incorporated into a home on 3rd Street. In 1980 the homeowner donated it to Ames Heritage Association (now AHM). Learn more about the rediscovery of the schoolhouse and its restoration.

Hoggatt School is open Sundays, June 1 – July 27, 2-4pm. Free and open to the public – all ages welcome!
