The Joan Bice Underwood Tearoom

The Joan Bice Underwood Tearoom at Iowa State University is a unique learning lab within the hospitality management program, offering lunch service for students, faculty, and the public during the academic year.

This 90-seat venue combines dining with education, where students gain hands-on experience in food production and service management.

Reservations are recommended, and a to-go menu is also available.  Reserve your spot here.

Located in the historic MacKay Hall, it also hosts themed fine dining events throughout the semester.

 

Fine Dinning Events

The Joan Bice Underwood Tearoom will offer three opportunities during the fall 2024 semester for guests to experience fine dining. Each event features a unique menu with seated service. You will enjoy three main courses centered around the theme of the evening, complete with dessert and wine parings.
