SEVEN OAKS IS SO MUCH FUN!! 

Located just 15 miles west of Ames on U.S. Highway 30, SEVEN OAKS RECREATION offers outdoor activities during the spring, summer, fall and winter months.

During the winter months, Seven Oaks features a snow tubing park, 11 ski and snowboard runs and 2 terrain parks ranging from beginner to expert. Two triple chairlifts, two rope tows and two handle tow lifts will get you to the top. Ski and snowboard equipment is available for rent in a wide variety of sizes. Free beginner ski and snowboard lessons and private lessons are available.  Weekly specials are offered.

Mid-June through mid-August, Seven Oaks offers full-service canoe, kayak and river tube floats down the scenic Des Moines River.  Their river floats will take you under one of the longest and highest double-track railway bridges in the world.

April- October you can make a reservation to spend a few hours at their action packed paintball field.  They can outfit up to 50 people at a time.

Every year in May, Seven Oaks will hosts their Gladiator Assault Challenge. This fun and challenging mud/obstacle course is designed to test participants’ endurance, speed, agility, strength, and mental stamina.  It’s a crazy muddy great time!

*In the non-winter months, The Lodge at Seven Oaks and Conference Center seats up to 300 guests for weddings, receptions, parties, and meetings.
