The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Iowa State University (OLLI at ISU) is a non-profit membership organization that offers lifelong learning opportunities for anyone aged 50+. With support from the Bernard Osher Foundation, ISU Alumni Association, volunteers, sponsors, and staff, OLLI at ISU members may enjoy stress-free learning with no tests, it’s simply learning for the fun of learning. Anyone age 50+ may join OLLI at ISU. Members from all backgrounds are welcome; neither a college education nor previous affiliation with a college is required. Membership is valid from July 1 through June 30 of the following year. Individuals may join at any time and are asked to renew their membership each July.
Lifelong learning opportunities with OLLI at ISU are offered in person, online, and as a combination of both. Courses are offered during three sessions each year. With topics from the fine arts to sports, mathematics to science, and everything in between there is a little something for everyone. OLLI at ISU members across the United States and Canada have joined together over the years to feed their curiosity and expand their minds.
