Bethany Life offers a Life Plan Community for older adults, providing a wide range of services including At-Home wellness and education, skilled care, assisted living, independent living, and long-term care. Located in Story City, Iowa, just a short drive from Ames, Bethany Life has been a trusted part of the community since 1914. Over the years, it has grown into the region’s most comprehensive resource for senior living and healthcare services. With a spirit of innovation, Bethany Life partners with community organizations, hospitals, families, and residents to support each older adult on their personal journey through life. As a non-profit, faith-based organization, Bethany Life is committed to serving all individuals, regardless of financial position.

Part of our Life Plan Community includes LifeBridge, which offers specialized rehabilitation and wellness services. Bethany @ Home provides in-home support and education. The Households of Bethany deliver person-centered long-term care, skilled care, and dedicated memory care. Our community also includes Bethany Life Donor Relations, which helps strengthen our mission through community support. LifeChoices at Bethany is a membership-based program designed to help older adults remain independent longer. Residential living options, such as Timberland Village and Cedar Place, offer warm and supportive environments for assisted and independent living. Affordables, our community thrift store, further supports Bethany Life through donated goods and local engagement.
