Ames History Museum, located in downtown Ames at 416 Douglas Avenue, offers visitors the chance to explore the stories and heritage of the Ames community through engaging exhibits, interactive displays, and local artifacts. Open Tuesday through Saturday, the museum also provides educational programs, special events, research resources, and a museum store. In addition to exhibits, the Fitch Family Gathering Hall is available for private events and gatherings.
