The Ames community gathered at Johnny’s in the Scheman Building on Iowa State’s campus to hear Discover Ames President/CEO Kevin Bourke and his team discuss 2024 accomplishments, preview upcoming projects for 2025, and watch the premiere of the RV There Yet? episode featuring Ames and Boone County as the spotlight destination.

The Ames community received a sneak peek at what’s to come from Discover Ames in 2023 including the Ames RAGBRAI theme, the release of the 2023 visitors guide, and a new Ames tourism video. Discover Ames president and CEO Kevin Bourke presented a brief report on 2022 activities.
The Ames community gathered to celebrate the Discover Ames (Ames Convention & Visitors Bureau) annual meeting on March 29, 2022 in Reiman Gardens. Discover Ames president and CEO Kevin Bourke presented a brief report on 2021 activities.
The 2021 Annual Meeting was presented via video on our CYtes of Ames YouTube Channel on Thursday, March 11, 2021 to celebrate the events and accomplishments of the Ames Convention & Visitors Bureau and our CYtes of Ames and Iowa State University members in 2020. Guests were invited to partake in the drive-thru at our Ames CVB office parking lot. Each vehicle received a travel themed package. Stay tuned for photos and other updates from the fantastic event!
