The event is located in the historic downtown Ames and the Brookside residential area, which recently has been listed on The National Register of Historic Places.\n\n\nAmes City Auditorium 520 6th Street\n\n\nAmes City Hall and Police Department 515 Clark Ave\n\n\nBack Alley House Plants 501 Main Street\n\n\nCornbred/Depot 526 Main Street\n\n\nFirst Christian Church 611 Clark Avenue\n\n\nLott Music Studio 401 Clark Avenue\n\n\nRoosevelt Condominiums 921 9th Street, Units 201 and 208\n\n\nSalon Roosevelt 827 Northwestern Avenue\n\n\n1002 Brookridge Avenue residence\n\n\n1208 Park Way residence\n\n\nJoin us as a volunteer as participants look behind the scenes into Ames’ historic past. Volunteers are needed for eleven locations in nine buildings. Volunteer shifts are 2 1/2 hours. Choose 10 am – 12:30 pm or 12:30 – 3:00 pm.
