SUMMARY:Fifth and Clark Fridays
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Spring leg of our Fifth and Clark Fridays continues with Display Case and Riley Jane!\n\nBased out of Des Moines, Iowa, Display Case is an alternative rock powerhouse comprising Jordan Essy on vocals, Carter Dull on guitar, Dylan Medina on bass, and Joey Heirigs on drums. With a sound that blends raw emotion with electrifying energy, Display Case has been making waves in the Midwest music scene.\nIn 2022, the band’s singles “Redacted” and “Moving On” from their EP “Better, Yet” put them in the international spotlight. Garnering attention from renowned news outlets such as New Fury Media, Alternative Press, Scene Daddy, and State of the Scene, Display Case cemented their position as a band on the rise. In late 2023, Display Case returned with their powerful and emotionally charged follow-up, “The Last Generation EP”. Featuring singles “Get Out” and “I Should’ve Known”, the EP captivated audiences and saw a surge in streaming plays, further solidifying Display Case’s status as a force to be reckoned with in the alternative rock genre.\nKnown for their high-octane live performances, Display Case is a band that demands to be experienced firsthand, delivering a visceral and unforgettable show every time they hit the stage.\n\nRiley Jane is a Des Moines local singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She’s been performing independently and previously as a member of a local band for roughly 7 years. With an alternative folksy-pop sound, Riley’s original songs offer very relatable insight into the coming-of-age struggles and celebrations of teen life. Riley has played the 80/35 music festival, the Iowa State Fair, as well as many local venues and farmers markets in and around the Des Moines and Cedar Falls area, including xBk Live, Captain Roy’s, the Octopus, Lefty’s, King Buck’s, etc. Riley performs her own original songs acoustically or along to backtracks, as well as fan-favorite covers of popular artists!\n\nAdmission to this event is $10. Advance tickets are on sale now, or you can pay at the door. Students will receive 2-for-1 admission by showing their student IDs at the door!\n\nThese shows are made possible with generous funding from The Iowa Arts Council and The National Endowment for the Arts!\n
