SUMMARY:Writer’s Round w/ Buz Owen, Noah Jackson, & Adam Kindred
DESCRIPTION:Writer’s Round is back Dec 18 – Join songwriters Buz Owen, Noah Jackson and Adam Kindred trading tunes and tales of their craft! January and March editions announcing soon.\nThurs 12/18 7pm – $5 all ages\nThe days are long, but the years are short, and Buz Owen sings about all of it. He’s a multi-instrumentalist out of Marshalltown, IA exploring folkways in modern life. His songs concern the worried, the worn, and the satisfactions that help us survive. Although mostly known for his mandolin and clawhammer banjo stylings, you can often find him posted up in the corner of a barroom armed with a guitar and harmonica.\nWhen he’s not performing, Buz is writing, recording, or collaborating with other artists – always chasing the next honest song.\nWith more than 7 releases under his belt, all Buz’s albums are written, produced, engineered, and performed by only Buz himself.\n———\nNoah Jackson is a musician with a diverse and eclectic musical background that reflects a lifelong passion for music. From his early days as a member of the band Ghosthustler (pre Neon Indian) to his solo work and work as a songwriter in Nashville, Noah has consistently pushed the boundaries of his musical expression. His unique sound is a testament to a love for retro influences, soulful melodies, and deep-rooted gospel inspirations. In his performances you can hear the journey of a writer who has dedicated years to perfecting his craft.\n——–\nLimited seating available, if you need ADA accommodation contact us.\nAlluvial is a listening room, please keep conversation low during the performance so everyone can enjoy, thanks!\n
