DESCRIPTION:Join ISU and ACCESS for an engaging session on starting meaningful conversations with your teen about relationships. Gain valuable insights and practical tools to empower your teen to build healthy, respectful, and fulfilling connections. Take home a set of conversation-starter cards.\nThe discussion will be led by our trained facilitators who present materials about healthy relationships to 7-12th graders all over Iowa. A local domestic violence advocate will share from the parents’ perspective including where to find helpful resources.\nWe’re meeting upstairs in the PEO Room and snacks are provided.\nOne week later, on April 15 from 5:30-7 p.m. in the Teen Space at the Ames Public Library, teens are invited to Healthy Love: Teen Night featuring the Advocating for My Relationships interactive program.\n
