DESCRIPTION:The annual Plant Sale Extravaganza will be held at Reiman Gardens Saturday, May 10, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 11, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The plant sale will be held in Reiman Gardens’ parking lot rain or shine.\nPlants for sale include perennials for sun and shade, herbs and vegetables, Iowa natives, woody plants including trees, shrubs and Buck roses, specialty evergreens, container annuals, hanging baskets, All-American Selection (AAS) winning vegetables and herbs, and prefinished mixed containers.\nPlant Sale Extravaganza supports the Department of Ecology, Evolution, & Organismal Biology Graduate Student Organization, the Graduate Student Horticulture Society, the ISU Horticulture Club, Reiman Gardens, and the Story County Master Gardener Association. All plant purchases directly benefit each group’s programming.\nCredit card, check, and cash will all be accepted as payment. No admission fee required to shop at the Plant Sale Extravaganza. No preregistration is required.\n
