SUMMARY:Art-for-Rent Open House
DESCRIPTION:The Iowa State Memorial Union is hosting an Art-for-Rent Open House in the MU Art Gallery on Aug. 6-8. Hours are Tuesday 3-6 p.m., Wednesday 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and Thursday 10 a.m.-1 p.m.\nThe Art Rental collection includes about 275 framed posters, prints, and paintings. Selections from the collection may be viewed during the open house and are available to rent for a half or full year. Rentals typically range from $10 to $25 per year, and patrons may take selected pieces with them that day.\nThe Art-for-Rent program is a great way to spruce up your home or office, and you do not have to be affiliated with Iowa State University to participate. Proceeds from rentals directly support art programs at the Memorial Union.\nThe Memorial Union is located at 2229 Lincoln Way on the ISU campus in Ames, and paid parking is available in the ramp adjacent to the building.
