They are part of the group known as The Get Down.\nAbdullah Muhammad is a veteran vocalist and performer who has been entertaining audiences for more than 30 years. He has a vocal richness that is equally smooth, soulful, and powerful. Abdul’s vocal versatility and range also allow him to effortlessly move across genres.\nPhilip Stiles Herbert has been performing and touring with bands for over 40 years. He’s a multi-instrumentalist but feels most at home on the keyboard. Philip plays range of musical styles from rock & roll and classic rock to funk, jazz, soul, and R&B. Philip is a 2019 Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee as a former member of the R&B, funk, and soul group Flipside.\n
