DESCRIPTION:Need a little pop of color in your home or workspace? Brighten up your life with a new work of art! And, because it’s a rental, it’s also affordable!\nThe Iowa State Memorial Union is hosting an Art-for-Rent Open House on Jan. 17-18 in the MU Art Gallery. Hours are Wednesday 3-6 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.\nThe Art Rental collection includes about 275 framed posters, prints, and paintings. Selections from the collection may be viewed during the open house and are available to rent for a half or full year. Rentals typically range from $10 to $25 per year, and patrons may take selected pieces with them that day.\nThe Art for Rent program is open to the public – you do not have to be affiliated with Iowa State University to participate. Proceeds from rentals directly support art programs at the Memorial Union.\nThe Memorial Union is located at 2229 Lincoln Way on the ISU campus in Ames, and paid parking is available in the ramp adjacent to the building.\n
