DESCRIPTION: \nHow many tubas can you fit on the stage of Stephens Auditorium? What if the players are wearing festive Christmas sweaters and Santa hats? What if each of the tubas (and euphoniums and baritones and sousaphones) are draped in holiday lights? Last year, 230 musicians ranging in age from 12 to 85 played for a packed house eager to hear cheery holiday favorites and hilarious tuba puns. This year’s concert is Saturday, Dec. 2 at 3 p.m. in Stephens Auditorium. The event is free, but get there early to ensure a seat!\nMusicians who wish to participate this year should plan to arrive at 1 p.m. on the day of the concert.
