DESCRIPTION:\nThe Goldfinch Room announces its first Goldfinch on the Lawn in 2023 with award winning singer/songwriters Danny Grause and Monica Austin on Tuesday, July 18 at 7 pm.  The concert will take place on the lawn at the southeast corner of Stephens Auditorium.\nSinger/songwriter Danny Grause, based in Ames, earned the Song of the Year for “Man On A Mountain” at the Midwest Country Music Awards earlier this year. As a top-notch guitar player and multi-instrumentalist, Danny is well known for weaving many influences into his live shows and taking the listener on a virtual road trip full of twists, turns, and occasional stops in funky town.\nMonica Austin is a Midwest country music artist from Muscatine and was named Entertainer of the Year at this year’s Midwest Country Music Awards.
