SUMMARY:The Rusted Steel String Band @ Alluvial
DESCRIPTION:The Rusted Steel String Band is a little bit jug band, a bit more of a blues band, and also a bit of a classic rock band. Throw in a bit of country, and some originals, and you have an eclectic mix that is sure to contain something everyone will enjoy. We do all of this on acoustic instruments, including dobro, guitar, harmonica, mandolin, fiddle, upright bass, and various percussion instruments. We have two main vocalists to keep things interesting. Some tunes you might expect to hear are jug band music from the 1930s, classic blues tunes, from the likes of Big Bill Broonzy, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson etc… classic rock tunes, from Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, The Grateful Dead to name a few. We’ve all been in bands since we were teenagers, which was longer ago, than we’d really care to admit! We’re looking forward to seeing you at Alluvial Brewing on May 13, 7-9:30pm!\n
